RCMP inspired uniform

This costume is kind of silly. It started out as a joke, when someone told me I should cosplay Canadian Pride (which apparently, looks like a rcmp uniform), I didn't think I could pull it off, but they insisted I would be a cute mountie. And thus teh kawaii Mountie costume was born.

On Friday Blizzard Nemo swept in and left two feet of snow, which I opted to take advantage of and get some Mountie pictures! (stereotypes are fun) It was also my first time trying on the costume since it had been finished. I think I have a few things to fix up before Katsu...blah

In these pictures i'm standing on a piece of plywood that we covered in snow so I wouldn't sink. Picture taken in my front yard.

Since whenever I post this anywhere I get asked; No I do not live in Canada! My parents, and entire family are Canadian but I was born in the US. I am a Canadian citizen, though.
