My name is Angela
I'm sixteen years old
I live in New York
I like ruffles, fitted jackets, pirates, any combination of those three.

About me: I'm a quiet person who very much enjoys being cooped up in my bedroom with my sewing machine, laptop, and drawing implements. Winter is my favorite season, I love snow, and sweaters, and snuggling up under blankets. I have the best dog ever who is very cuddly and likes sleeping almost as much as I do. I don't care for social situations, but when i'm forced into them i'm really sarcastic.

Cosplay: I started cosplaying in 2010 and began sewing and making my own costumes a year after that. Over the past few years I've really enjoyed bringing some of my favorite characters and designs to life! I really enjoy using different materials with lot's of textures to help create how I feel characters would look if they actually existed.

As much as I've enjoyed cosplaying and congoing it's not something I plan to continue doing. I have no future convention plans, though I do hope to complete a few more cosplays over the next year It's not a main focus of mine.

Current Plans: I'm really interested in delving deeper into historical fashion, a lot of the things I strive to make are lookalikes to gowns that existed hundreds of years ago, or designs that are inspired by them.

I'm also working on creating a portfolio for future college, and internship applications. Throughout the year of 2014 I will be making all sorts of things, from armor inspired looks to fluffy wedding dresses! My goal is to really expand my portfolio and show more variety.
